| The Northern Territory Livestock Exporters Association (NTLEA) was established in 1980 to promote and support the sustainable and profitable development of livestock from northern Australia and the Northern Territory in particular.
It currently represents the interests of 22 members - the majority being exporters who are actively involved in the trade. The Association maintains close ties with producers, agents, shippers, government departments and other industry bodies. The NTLEA has a minimum of four general meetings a year.
The
NTLEA has an executive committee which meets monthly. The current
executive committe is comprised of the following: Sid Parker (Chairman), Ross Ainsworth (Vice Chairman), Adam Hill, Paul McCormick, Steve Grose and Brooke Hartley.
It also owns and leases out a set of Register Export Yards in the Darwin area. These yards are a full quarantine facility located in Berrimah. |
