The livestock export industry continues to evolve and expand by supporting good animal welfare practices
and professional development of feedlot practices in the market place.

It achieves this by supporting programs such as on-board stockman training courses, stevedore training courses, feedlot and abattoir animal handling training, as well as extensive R&DE both in Australia and in overseas markets.

The NTLEA continues to support these programs and, given its unique position in northern Australia, is
focused on strengthening the delivery of positive outcomes.
