The Northern Territory Livestock Exporters' Association (NTLEA), incorporated on 22 April 1980, promotes, facilitates and drives growth in the export of livestock from Northern Australia and the Territory in particular.
It represents the interests of livestock
exporters as well as many other players with a vested interest in what has become
one of rural Australia's most robust industries.
The association works closely with members, other industries and both the Australian and Northern Territory Governments to increase the number of cattle available for the overseas trade.
It also works closely with importers and overseas industries and governments to highlight the value of Northern Australia's cattle as a reliable, consistent product perfect for value-adding purposes and for meeting overseas market specifications.
