Australian Livestock Export Council
Export Supply Chain Assurance

The Australian Livestock Exporters’ Council is aware that the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) has received a complaint of alleged animal welfare concerns at two Indonesian abattoirs. Download the Media Statement, or contact Kevin Mulvahil on (08) 8942 1000 or (0400) 421 000.

The NTLEA strongly supports Export Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS) in full. The requirement for ongoing monitoring and independent auditing is necessary to ensure that the system is functioning effectively.
